Tips Zire 71

Hoy encontre una serie de Tips muy interesantes para la Palm, especificamsnte, la Zire 71.
A continuacion algunos interesantes.

Nutrition Facts

If you’re concerned about nutrition and healthy eating, there’s a simple — and mobile — way to check the nutrients in a wide array of food and drink. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has teamed up with a health technology firm to devise a consumer-friendly nutrient data base that can be downloaded to the Palm.

The transfer takes about 10 minutes, and you’ll need at least 1.5 megabytes of available memory. The download can be found at http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp.

Date Book without Screen Tapping
To enter an event in the datebook, start by writing numbers in the Graffiti area. Complete the Start Time for the appointment, then enter a “cursor down” command (straight down and up again in the Graffiti area) to flip to the appointment End Time. Complete the time entry by making a return stroke (upper right to lower left on the alphabet side of the Graffiti area). Then continue writing to enter the descriptive text. And once you’ve mastered the process, you can enter an appointment without having to click ANYWHERE in the graphical display screen … a major time saver if you have to enter several entries with the stylus.
